I'm down tonight for my first game of the year, and this has just got me even more excited about it.
It'd be great if the club/Sky could broadcast the video in maybe 5 minute sections on the big screen in advance of kick off for future games, every fan should see it and I'm sure it would get the fans worked up.
Thank you so much for all the fantastic comments for our work. All the Ducks who worked on both the Wire heritage wall and the films are thrilled with the response it's getting.
Just a couple of points to answer from your posts: The best way to get people to see the films is to go on the heritage tour at the HJ organised by the Wire2Wolves foundation, the films are played alongside the Timeline Wall we also designed. In fact it is the foundation who organised and sourced funding for this work through the Heritage Lottery Fund, so apart from the long hours by Neil Kelly and his team, it didn't cost the club a penny to create. Supporting the foundation is crucial for more work like this to celebrate the history of this fine club, town and wonderful sport of ours.
We have shot lots more footage and many more amazing stories to tell that we have already captured from the extensive interviews. Many of the stories can't go in the current films as these need be accessible to children and we would need to have age restrictions to tell the complete tale. We are itching to put together a feature length documentary and feel it would resonate with an audience far wider than our home supporters but to all fans of sport.
It seems that there is an appetite for more and with your support for the Wite2Wolves foundation I'm sure we can get a DVD/Blu-Ray/download distributed.
