Quote ="Paul2812"Met alot of TV stars & presenters, as well as Premiership footballers when I worked at a hotel in Birmingham city centre in the early 90's. My only disapointment was when Blackburn Rovers stayed when Dalglish was the Manager. What an arrogant, rude man. I'm a Liverpool fan but I don't care for the bloke after the way he spoke to me and some of my work collegues. Genuis on the pitch..... not very nice off it.
Also, one of my sons once asked Gary Neville for an autograph only to be told 'no' without even looking at him. Quite a pointless act for something that would have taken seconds to complete.'"
i can second that,i did a job at dalglish's house years ago,his daughter(kelly) who later worked for sky sports was only about 17,she was really friendly, chatted to me and my mate, made us a brew, top girl.
in walks kenny, blanks me and my mate, sits at a breakfast bar near where we were working, never even said hello.
total ignorant tool, even his daughter looked embarrassed,i wasn't that d as i am a united fan but my mate was a liverpool fan and he was gutted.
not the way a sportsman should behave, met richard ashcroft he was really friendly but my hat goes off to matt king, who me and my young son were chatting to in tesco one saturday morning,my son was only about 6 at the time but matt king had a chat with him for about ten minutes, true gent,it meant a lot to a young wire fan(and his dad!)
