I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the number of employees mentioned in the AA reports in those links:
Warrington - 2009
All Wages (not including NI & pensions) = £3,293,756
Number of Employees: 127
Players = 65
Coaches and fitness staff = 23
Administration = 36
=#FF0000Ground and matchday staff = 3
Wigan - 2009
All Wages (not including NI & pensions) = £2,939,805
Number of Employees: 74
Playing and coaching staff = 53
Administration = 21
We have a slightly higher wage bill, but quite a lot more staff - very interesting. Players who don't get first-team appearances don't count on the salary cap, do they.'"
Based on the highlighted figure I'd say those figures are not to be believed. Matchday staff = 3.....So how does that equate to the turnstile and Warringtons own stewards then?
