Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. | For me for sheer drama is the Joel Monas try against Hudds at home this season.
To watch the replay with Joel and Kevin Brown reaching for the ball with that "will he or won't he" train of thought, is worthy of the accolade of Try of the Season. It is possibly the most dramatic sporting spectacle of the season, let alone Super League. Thank god Sky were there to capture the moment.
As second place, and a close second, is Atkins at Hull. The power he displays is simply phenomenal. He pushes Westerman from a standing start, and then Westerman and Houghton together, then still has the skill and presence of mind to rip the ball and land the try. Awesome. Missus loved the cheeky smile as he grounded the try aswell!
Thirdly is Joel's intercept against Wigan at home. Everyone wrote Joel off in the "length of the field try" stakes, having seen him in the CC Quarter v Wigan. Then to intercept against the team that caught him last time, and to have the self belief and run his backside off, was a credit to the player and had me roaring with delight.
Just think, if he hadn't got p****d in Canberra on 5th (ish) November 2010, we wouldn't have him!!

| Mylar at home against Leeds is a cracker, my favourite by a long way. Then King's away at Hull KR, think it was his second try

| Joels was a good try, but all he did was run really, i'm not disputing that it was good, but Myler at Wigan for me. Just the knowledge to look for it and then to finish it in front of a see of celebrating primrose and blue must have been amazing.

| Myler v Leeds - support, support then a final support from Myler - finally we have a half back who can sniff out offloads
Bridge v Catalan - the one where Riley brings the ball back and slices through the Cats defence like a punt returner !
Atkins v Wakefield - the one from the kick off where Monas feints inside then throws it wide to King
J Monas v Bradford - after a number of failed length of fielders, he finally made it
plus any of our numerous interception tries - I just love watching Sir Lee Briers picking off passes and sprinting in from 40 yards

| Special mention to King's leap against St Helens at home, he even injured himself in the process such was his determination to score that one!
