| Quote ="Mark"The only issue I have is how much notice we're given for functions etc. I appreciate it that it's hard to organize etc. The one's I've attended have always been very enjoyable.'"
It's usually a few weeks notice for the smaller events and usually much more for the bigger ones.

| Paying for the dance team isn't increasing participation in Rugby League. I know that they actively helped amatuer clubs on the schemes inception but not in the past 2 or 3 years to my knowledge.
Are the accounts published anywhere?

Quote ="SEB"Answers to Finsbury Wire in blue below:
With regards to the SB, it is something i have considered in the past but dont really know:
A)What my money goes towards.
=#0000FFIf you join the Trust only (just a fiver a year):
www.squadbuilder.co.uk/wwstwhat.asp
If you join Squadbuilder (which includes Trust membership):
www.squadbuilder.co.uk/sqbwhat.asp
B)What my membership brings to me benifits/commitments/responsibilities
Now, for the amount of money involved, i wouldn't be that fussed if the benifits that membership bring to me are very minimal if i knew that my money was a big benifit to the club.
It's kinda the same with the Supporters Trust, what is it and what do i get/do by being involved?
=#0000FFBenefits - currently they include excellent access to the club, the stadium, management, coaches, players via various events through the year ranging from informal, fun and informative Q&As through the Quiz Night, Player of the Year Awards and functions such as dinners. A bigger list of benefits is currently being worked on.
The money is very definitely a big benefit to the club, they are very grateful and complimentary of the efforts of the fans in raising funds to aid youth development. John Bastian, Ben Lazenby, Richard Marshall, Gary Chambers, Peter Farrell etc are all great fans of what we do and we work closely with them to identify where to spend our funds. Only last night, we were presented with a nice glass trophy by Andy Gatcliffe from the club to thank us.
Some recent examples of where the funding from member subscriptions, Quiz Night, Dinners, raffles and donations goes:
-direct junior and academy players;
-squad sponsorship for all of u16s, u18s and u20s;
-pre-season training camps and trips for u16s, u18s and u20s
-talent identification sponsorship;
-various equipment purchases (such as tackle bags, clothing, training balls, memory sticks (for personal training plans and video reviews));
-Player of the Year (first grade and academy grades) and Player of the Month (for u18s and u20s) trophies and awards;
-promotional costs;
-charitable donations etc.
SEB, i know you're probably the man for these questions but if it is something i would really be keen on, and i imagine my dad (who i always have gone to games with since being small) could be sold on it easily too.
=#0000FFI hope the above (very quickly written!) snapshot goes someway to encouraging you and your dad and indeed everyone else reading this to give some consideration towards joining. Last night's AGM with a panel of Andy Gatcliffe, Ralph Rimmer and John Bastian provided excellent direct access to the people and issues at the top of our club and the game in general and lots of interesting stuff was discussed, including at least one bit of exclusive, excellent news. Hopefully a full report on last night will follow, I was only able to attend the first half.
I am always wary of writing stuff like this because I worry I'll miss something important out but Finsbury Wire asked some direct questions so I wanted to give something in return. We are thinking of starting a newsletter (something we have thought about before) - perhaps new or current members might be able to help out with things like that?
Any other questions just ask and me or one of the many other Trust board members will glady answer.'"
Really appreciate all of that SEB, definatley something I (and i'll sell my dad on it too) would like to take up. I have the form printed off from the SB site and will run it round to the club either at the weekend or next week. Once signed up, would be happy to help out with whatever I could
