Quote ="Paul Youane"I agree with the posters complaining about sewn on sponsors logos. I demand the retuen to the crappy ones that crack with the first wash. Without these what are we going to moan about for the rest of the season?
Are others suggesting having the sponsors logos "printed" into the shirt? I think that looks ace on those football shirts you can buy on the promenade at Torremolinos: real classy they look.'"
2009. Take a look at those kits, the logos are all printed onto the shirt. Why have we stepped back to Stickon/Stitchons?
Or even the 2010 ladies home shirts, all were printed except the Wolves badge.
The ones that cracked sucked. I looked after mine so the damage was minimal, then they released a quick fix with the sewn on logos. I can understand given the fabric that printing might be a little difficult, hence the stitching... Which I don't mind. But why not release it with a fabric similar to the players jersey, rather than a totally different shirt? Even the colouring a slightly different on the "Fans" top.
Like I said, no matter what the quality or the fabric etc, I'll still be buying both shirts and will be wearing them with pride. It's just fustrating at times with the quality of things. Wigans 2010 home kit... the players had that big collar, that looked awesome... Why can't we have something like that on our smooth fabric'd shirts... as I know most of us like the shirts with collars.
