I rate Grix. He had a few games at centre last year just after TS came here. During that time we were conceding a stupidly low number of tries per game. I remember when Brian Noble was the GB coach during the time the Briers for GB campaign was in full swing. One of his comments was that he needed a stand off that will take the line on. Lee does that more often now TS is here and sometimes nothing comes of it. This is the same when Grix plays at 6. There is not a line break every time Leon Pryce takes on the line. His passing accuracy is usually pretty good though. It is not often you see a centre have to hold up his run to take a pass from Grix.
Every team has players with great utility value. they are usually centres or back rowers that can play the odd game at 6 or 7. Grix is one of these.
If you watch the highlights from Sunday he was certainly directly involved in 3 tries on Sunday, a couple of astute passes and a good kick through for Myler's third.
