Would like to mention Mathers v Bradford, I thought he did really well yesterday, two try saving tackles and was there at the end to smash the ball into touch. I really want him to stay next year even if he is just a utility back.



Also the more I see of Hicks the more I think it would be a mistake to let him go. He showed his class and strength yet again. Whilst Riley (who I think has been great over the last couple of seasons) was shown up a little in terms of strength and positioning.

Mathers had a solid game yesterday, saved 2 domanant attacks single handed -also platt was in for certain try last minute - who saved the day you know Mathers - yes he makes a few mistakes - but hey who's perfect .

Notice how he joins as loose now, falls back straight away when ball comes out of scrum -
