Having seen how well Cooper and Harrison played last night I am believe that the club now needs to start giving more of our youngsters a chance to show what they can do....

I realise you have to be careful with young talent but feel that some time on the pitch albeit off the bench would benefit them.

Look at Saints and the likes of Jonny Lomax, he is only 18 but he is gradually being brought into the Saints team with short spells on the pitch and this will benefit his game and will benefit Saints with their conveyor belt of young talent.

I believe we have some players from the reserves and Academy that can make that step up but need to be given the opportunity.

You saw the reserves yesterday, why are you asking this stupid question?

There will be some players currently at u18 that will make it and they will probably benefit if an u20 competition is brought in next season.

The players I am referring to didn't play in the reserve game yesterday, most of them have been dropped down to the 18's to help them or play in the 18's squad and some of the reserve players I refer to have short term injuries or simply didn't play.....Adam Neal played well for reserves......and I did see game yesterday and reserves awful....but they weren't beginning of season when they had more first choice players available.......that team yesterday is probably their most weakened team...that happens at times....

Oh and wasn't stupid question....what is stupid is to base an opinion on one poor game the reserves have played, when they had many players missing or as I said playing for the 18's or injured ....I was looking at the bigger picture mate and if you know some of the players in the reserves and 18's you will know, they have the potential, I am just hoping they are handled properly and brought through otherwise they go elsewhere as has happened in the past.

Name me one player who we should have kept hold of, who's gone elsewhere.
