| Have been reading a few aussie message boards and have heard very positive stuff about McPherson. The bunnies fans wanted to re-sign him and said he had been immense this year for them. Also heard a few rumours about Joel Moon and how a few fans thought he would be better at 13 and is not a centre, If this is true and we have signed him as a loose, would free up wild to play 2nd row and add some size and pace with McPherson the other 2nd row. any one else heard any new rumours???

| His manager, Daryl Mather, said lock was the 23-year-old's best position.
''That's part of the Joel Moon dilemma,'' Mather said. ''He's a prodigious talent, on his day he's phenomenal. But he's a manufactured centre.
''At five-eighth he's failed to dictate the terms of a game like [Terry Campese does for the full 80 minutes.
''At lock he gives a nice balance. He plays a quasi lock/five-eighth role and he can express himself in attack and he's an aggressive defender.
''Lock is ultimately where he'll play his best football.''

| Would like to offer some insight into our new signing, and the supposed signing of Joel Moon; since I can't, I'm just hoping all these vibes about them both being good in defence is true. Something the team needed for this season.
Although, I think Moon at LF, with Smith, Holdsworth and Patten could be one ball player too many, especially as Anderson likes to think of himself as a bit of a ball player. It depends whether the coaching team can get them to gel as a unit. Got to say I liked the look of Patten running off Anderson for his try against Leeds, and he's mad some good breaks of our other forwards this season. So maybe Moon at LF could offer some more attacking options, which wouldn't be a bad thing since we've been far too predictable at times this season. Wild does seem to be more of extra prop type of LF as he's got older, similar to the role Paul Gallen plays. Just not in the same league.
Still think we need another Prop or two, especially if big Ray goes home. Fingers crossed he'll give us one more year.
Anyone seen Gledhill perform much?

If I'm thinking of the right bloke he's been on a DR contract at Wakey/Fev and played quite a few games in the Championship this season.
Seems a solid, hard-working kinda forward but never really stood out in the few appearances I've watched.

Thats pretty much how I'd sum him up too. He may kick on with you lot, he may not. He hasnt had the chance to do it at Wakey, which is a real shame, but I hope that we will manage to sign someone better as his replacement.

He has had the chance at Wakefield hes not big enough yet for a SL prop. He could make a good second rower but a change of club could do him the world of good. He has shown occassionally that he can perform.
