I think this stunt was very badly timed and shows a distinct lack of maturity from both players concerned.



All they have done is put added pressure on themselves because if either perform badly again tonight they could both face being object target practice from the mindless minority in the shed!

Maybe McRae will take legal action against them?

Why? The are having the crack very much on their own time and within the confines of their personal space.

I appreciate they're naive young lads but I have to disagree with your comment about it being harmless. This kind of stunt can harm the club by causing fans to question and criticise the running of the club. For instance for some fans this prank could have potentially caused them to become upset, more disillusioned and at worse they could have boycotted tonight's match.



If I posted on facebook for a joke that I was leaving my job (during these difficult economic times) to work for a competitor I'd expect my already under pressure boss and work mates to be totally pis*ed off with me.



The team got annihilated last week and conceded 50 points in the second half, the coach describes it as the worse 40 minutes he's ever witnessed and threatens legal action against his detractors. With Myler and Turner rumoured to leaving they knew full well that rumour of another good young player leaving would really stir some S[ih[/iit between the fans and their employer.

There's little that's personal about Facebook and a lot of people can see that information that are going to get the wrong idea from it.



This sort of thing could be damaging to the club, especially with what seems to be a mass exodus occuring at the end of the season given the amount of players supposedly leaving. It's not the most professional thing to be doing.

Well if it was all a bit of a laugh then fair enough, there are lots of worse things that lads their age could be doing, no real harm done.



My oppinion on Ratchford stands though and I beleive he is a great young player who I would love to have at Trinity.



If he reads this message board it might have done his confidence a world of good because Salford and Wakefield fans alike have all expressed positive opinions on him.

I think we can all accept a bit of a joke... but the timing of this was very bad. Everyone is feeling on a bit of a downer at the moment and probably didn't need this right now.



On a plus side... how much did it make people realise how much we value him ? In my opinion... I have no worries losing Myler... But Stefan... that would be a different story.
