However here is my twop'th for what it is worth. A mod should be seen as a neutral sane voice that allows debate but recognises where someone has overstepped the mark. They don't get involved in petty squabbles or post rumour after rumour just to see what effect it has on fans. Mario, Stanley, Mitch enjoy the baiting far too much to be considered as mods.

I can't imagine anything worse than being a moderator, I bait only Mario as I find the puerile drivel he pulls out of a RL tombola counter productive and utterly nonsensical.



Any potential Mod should be someone who has the club/fans well being at heart and impeccable impartiality.

Mario would be a fair Moderator in my book, he's not part of the ''clique'' what this forum has had for many years which fundamentally needs shaking from the bottom of its shoe.

Clique ? there is hardly anyone posting.



I'm not baiting anyone I was just stating that those I named enjoy the argument too much to be mods. It had nothing to do with whether they wanted the job.

. I post my true opinion on how i see it whether its positive or negative. The new moderator should be as you first described and certainly shouldn't be based upon a popularity contest. Many people i talk to refrain from here due to its ''clique'y nature'' seriously.

I've pretty much been in agreement with you over most RL matters on the forum over the last few weeks, and you're guilty of letting what has happened on the Sin Bin leak into this forum. Get yourself back on track, because nobody wants to read yours or my tit-for-tat.

Ive always found Stanley incredibly easy to get along with and incredibly insightful with his posts on the board. Once again however Stan and myself find ourselves coming under unjustified attacks. We need strong pro-active moderators for this forum.

Mario - maybe rather than trying to take over the mod'ing of this forum. You could start your own and Stan could be your co-founding member. You could call it something like Fan Club. You and Stan could invite other people to argue with you on Fan Club about how awful the Salford club is and you could ban anyone who insults you. You and Stan could make up all the rules. You know like

If you want to mod a board I suggest you go set up your own forum elsewhere as I would lose total respect for anyone on here who is willing to give you moderator privileges. And that's where I'll leave it. There are so many things I'd like to say but have to bite my tongue as I'm tired of listening to the utter tripe that comes out of your (and certain affiliates of yours) mouth.

I'll reluctantly put my name into the ring to be a Mod, although personally I'd prefer someone else to take it on. It just needs someone to take a grip of what's been happening recently and start cracking the proverbial whip.

Why do you need more moderators on here? most of the posters on here do so responsibly and get on reasonably well with each other considering nobody's ever going to agree with every opinion given, surely a mod's job is to intervene with sensitive issues or when mischief makers like you and your mate assuming he exists try to make things difficult for the genuine posters by deliberately pursuing your agenda to cause upset with your poison spreading at every opportunity, I suppose the only criticism they could come in for is the latitude they allow you, but as I'm sure you'll be quick to point out quite correctly as well you ain't done nothing wrong, but you aren't fooling anybody if you think you are smart, only yourself of course.

Quite simple really. To disperse the forum ''clique'' and to Police the site fairly, where under the normal recent circumstances personal attacks on Myself and Mario gets ignored. I was reprimanded for naming a certain individual with numerous accounts, whereas on here Mario gets named with no Moderated response, if this isn't proof of the ''cliquey'' forum i don't know what is.

May I suggest if you don't like a post from particular people just ignore it and move on. Responding in anyway just gives them fuel. Just ignore them and eventually they move on.



If that's not posibbly add them as a Foe and you won't see there posts any more.
