3000 season tickets wouldnt be unrealistic, as we had already sold 2700 by 6th January.

About 3000 season tickets sold and he also said there going to be a big crowd for the first game and he hope he can retain a lot of the walk up spectators.

In the SL one he says that the fans have been sold false promises and false dawns too many times. A funny omission.

It's true though, It's going to take a while for the fans to come back, drip feeding the attendances upward should be the aim.

I'm made up with the 3,000 season tickets sold to date. Considering we only attracted 2,500 fans in total to more than half our home games last season the club and supporters should be praised for their efforts thus far.



When you also consider the variety of game days too i.e Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can bet a number of fans wont have taken up the offer of a season ticket as they may work on the days some games fall meaning they wont see the benefit.



More away fans will also be attracting to visiting Salford, not only are games vs Yorkshire teams now on Sundays making travel easier but games will be competitive and much closer than previous. The likes of Leeds, Bradford, Wigan, Saints, Warrington etc who have all hammered us in the past can expect a game.



I think the absolute minimum we should be aiming for is averages of 5,000 with a decent start I can see us pushing this to 6,000.
