There were posters outside our ticket office before the game still advertising it as 13th January, though at the end of the game it was annouced our next home game was against Swinton with no mention of next week?

We're that big we don't want to play small clubs like Leigh!!!!



On a serious note pal - bad very, very bad from a Salford point of view!

Pretty sure I've read Tweets from Martyn Ridyard (@ridy6) and Jonny Pownall (@PownallJonny) in the last couple of days that they think we're playing Salford next week. So if the players are thinking its on, the fans think it isn't, then God knows.

Interesting change of language there. From saying it was "confirmed" on 21st December to saying the game had been "pencilled in" today.

Salford definitely indicated to Leigh, that they were willing to play on the 13th. Maybe there was a breakdown in communication between the 'admin' side at Salford, and the head coach who, understandably wasn't willing to put a small squad through two games in four days. (he didn't realise at the time, how easy the game against Wigan would be!
