Agree with Evalds - deserves a spot on the bench but although a great finisher he is not a link player and that is how Watto is developing the squad. Great to watch and we must offer Lui a contract as he gets everyone moving.
Mr Catsanglais - thank you for the news as Williams is a good centre indeed but from our point of view the omission of Bird is a good thing as he rattles everyone. Not bothered about Burgess as he is exceedingly mediocre.

Will Todd Carney play? I rated him very highly ,but he was always injured.My view of our recent 2 wins is that we were much the same ,but our opponents were weaker and, frankly, stupider . However we will be more confident and will at last have hot weather. |

Hello again.I thought you the first half was v. close and that our 2 days extra rest was crucial.Our defence was the best I have seen for a very long time.I have never seen Todd Carney play so badly.He looked uninterested and unfit.Good luck-We are playing you again quite soon |

I think the turnaround & the advantage given to you made it no contest, it was always going to happen, Catalans tactics were spot on by blowing us away in the first half, we had nothing left in the tank, late arrival, two day turnaround & heat all combined to make it no contest.
I know the advantage had nothing to do with Catalans, however about 3 to 4 years ago we were to play Wakefield on a Saturday at the A J Bell & because Sale already had the rights to the stadium that day, we were made to play our game at Leigh sports village, not sure why Huddersfield were not made to do the same? I am sure Bradford, Halifax, Rochdale, Oldham, Leeds & others could have been made available in the same way.
I think with Todd Carney, he came into the team yesterday clearly carrying some sort of knock. |
