I reckon they’re paying a reasonable sum for it. Super League turned down Betfair and a reported £750,000 a year deal in favour of Stobart because they wanted to associate themselves with a business brand, regardless of income, and perhaps disassociate themselves with a vice. Reality clearly hit home and they later accepted sponsorship of the Challenge Cup from Ladbrokes, and now this.

Ladbrokes seem to sponsor quite a bit of RL other than the Challenge Cup (they sponsor Sky Sports coverage and they're listed as an official partner of SL) I wonder if this will affect their sponsorship and possibly the CC deal?
