What EXACTLY is his perceived gripe with the RFL? He gets "wined-up" and starts posting stupid threats on Twitter without actually mentioning anything with any substance. It's hard to sympathise with him when he just post idle threats all the time. Like you say his "Truth will out" posts prior to the independent tribunal findings made him look a right tool. The truth was out and it showed blatant salary cap breaches! I like the guy. He's enthusiastic but he reeks of a rich bloke throwing a hissy-fit because he can't get his own way all the time even after throwing money at it. Is this new "threat" also conveniently timed with news of the Bulls woes? He did have a gander round their place at one time! Ground's a dump but there's potential for the crowds to flock back if they can get the team sorted. Judging by Salfords record he can achieve the latter but not the former!

I don't think fans are kept away because of Marwan, only his silly acts as owner that keep holding the club back.



I've been saying it for a while and I'll keep saying it, if only he'd just reel his ego in and be willing to learn from some people Salford could be a success. And I say this as an RL fans who desperately wants more successful clubs playing in front of big crowds, especially those clubs who have the potential for big crowds, and I think, ultimately, Salford are one of those clubs.

Please Marwan, just put your ego aside and run the club properly. Put your money and enthusiasm into growing the club rather than fighting the sport.

The RFL must have all their fingers crossed, hoping the owners of Toronto don't find out the inadequacies of the RFL like Dr has.

As a Bulls fan I would say that whatever his failings you should hang on to the Dr. It's a cold cruel world without a rich backer. I wish we could find one that would plough his money into the club.
