Last night epitomized Salfords Kicking Game. From the Kick off we kick to exactly the same position every time. No variation so the opposition know exactly where the ball's going and how to set up. We changed it once last night and won the ball back even though the opposition must have known what we were going to do as we changed kicker.
Why did we not do that when we were only 6 points down??
The short kicking game was exactly the same, up in the air and mainly too long to compete for the ball. The one time we did compete for the ball we won it back. We desperately need some variation!
On a positive Gaz O'Brien's goal kicking was superb.

After last nights shambles,I doubt we will win another game in the regular season, their was one point when Carney had fielded the ball near our line their was no one to play it back to,that the Ref had to hurry us up,they are either not fit enough or just could not be bothered.The team is lacking leadership at one point the tee goes on for a shot a goal,they take no notice,they then get another penalty nearer the post and still do not take the two.If we do stay up and their must be a doubt the way we are playing I think we will get one more season before the hard core what we are now down to finally they give up,I think it is that bad. |

Watson must know is days at Salford are limited
Carney was lucky he did not turn a yellow card to red.

What kicking game??????
We havent got one, not one player can kick more than 20 yds when we have a penalty , and not one player can kick a 40/20 Dobson is past it, and about time he got moved on, He has had more clubs than most players , maybe this is reason , he shines to start with then goes crap.
Im sure he is also on the qouta, so about time he went and used the slot up for a good young no7 from Ozsomebody who can kick.
