Yes I agree there's a number of players not up to the standard and built on promising performances last season to give us that strength in depth.

But does any not think the points reduction has had a big affect on enthusiasm, yes we have to perform in the 8s but it surely must have had an impact?



The Sheens factor initially changed the dynamics of how we played and I'm certainly not the one to question him as he's one of the games great masters.

Going forward at times it's been a pleasure to watch but the defensive frailties wouldn't be accepted in the NRL, so it's difficult to see why we don't appear to have any structure or cohesion in this crucial area.

I'd keep Walne and Krasniqi, both still young and have time on their side. Granted at the moment neither should be first choice or starting, but still got enough to warrant a squad place and maintain competition.



I don't know what Watto see's in Phil Joseph, I thought he would be used as emergency cover at best but it appears not. Tomkins is a liability and the sooner his one year deal runs out the better. I'll be very surprised if he gets a gig at another Super League team, Championship level at best.



We need to be careful not to overreact after two disappointing performances against Castleford and Saints. Prior to that we were doing ok. Saints was disappointing because they were there for the taking and our own ill-discipline, lack of composure and unforced errors ruined it for us.
