With regards to the tackle I don't think it is quite as bad as Chases tackle but very close and like everyone else am shocked Brough hasn't been banned at least one game.

Best thing to do is introduce the rule that a player joining the tackle cannot make contact below the knee.

It's ridiculous that the RFL consider themselves as medical professionals, in that their assessment of the tackle was OK because it hit the back of the knee which is consistent with natural movement. Whilst all tackles which result in an injury shouldn't be penalised (I accept some are accidental) I have watched the Brough incident again and again and it is quite clearly an attack to the knees.



Given the bans which have been handed out so far this season, it's an easy 2-4 game ban.



Whilst Mason Caton-Brown is out for 8-12 weeks, Danny Brough can continue making such challenges because according to the RFL they are OK.

More than two in the tackle is fine, it's the second or third man in making contact below the knee of the ball carrier that is dangerous.

Stuart Cummings reckons it should have been a grade B offence.
