I think part of the problem yesterday was we took our foot of Browns throat, in that first few minutes some big hits went in on him and he disappeared, when he started to get a bit of room he showed what he can do, in cases like this in the first few minutes make sure he gets the ball from kicks and pummel ">him.'"
That was the worst 80 minutes I have seen Kevin Brown play for Widnes. He was terrible.

He wasn't his usual self but he was far from terrible, Salford marshalled him well as we did with his opposite number.
Both teams have potential to do some damage to the league this year if they keep the top 17 players fit.

I'm not kevin browns biggest fan, but thought he had a very good second half, as said him and lui cancelled each other out to a degree, but he looked very dangerous at times.

I thought Obrien,did well.But we cannot afford to muck Evades about.
This is just my opinion,I would play Evades in the centre in place of Sau.Although I know Sau as a fan club on here. |

Was a strange game but happy with the result. We started off brilliantly like we did against saints. scoring two tries while down to twelve men was just awesome to watch. I was annoyed with the amount of chances we gave them though. The O'Brien sin bin incident and the penalty from the kick off which led to their second try in the first half. We looked tired & our play on the ball was slow but credit to Widnes for pinning us back for most of the second half. When they scored their last try i thought we blew it but Tommy Lee's 40/20 changed the game.
