Eccles RLFC is a better option, it’s marginally closer and helps support local grass roots RL. It’s a 10-15 minutes’ walk to the stadium and seen as though the stadium car park shuts down for 30 minutes after the game it will save you a fair bit of time.



Just incase traffic is bad getting back on the M60 after the game, type this post code into your sat nav ‘M27 6PE’ it will take you left out of Eccles through Swinton (instead of right and onto the M60) and get you on the M62 just before junction 17 (Prestwich).

Getting in and out of the ground by car should be a bit easier as the approach roads are much closer to being completed with big sections open on match days to ease congestion.

Don’t be going to the Rugby Union club, they’re both next to each other more or less so stick with sticking your money into grassroots RL.

I was thinking much the same about the RL club. Would much rather they had our money.
