Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com
For what it's worth I think you've got the ty end of the stick!
A few years ago Hornets played Oldham and at half time the Biffos made a substitution. Unfortunately the lad who got subbed was taking a leak at the time and when he came back nobody mentioned it and he ran out with the rest of the team.
Only when Hornets' bench did a count about 3 mins into the second half did it get sorted.
People calling for a £10k fine and saying a precedent was set with our punishment need to look at it objectively. Our fine wasn't 'setting a precedent'. We were fined according to the situation in the game when it occurred. The two incidents are completely different. Slightly extreme example, but it's like saying one person who punches someone in the face and breaks their jaw and another person who punches someone and gives them a black eye should receive the same punishment.
I now find that it is outside of office hours and I have taken my socks off and counted 14 days since [url=http://www.therfl.co.uk/news/article/27705/salford-fined-for-rule-breachTHIS[/url
Anyone out there know whether the fine has been paid or an appeal put in ?
Anyone out there know who,if anyone,is to blame and what procedures have been put in place to prevent it happening again ?
I do find it admirable that as a follower of the game the RFL is so transparent and informative regarding matters of interest.

We all know that RFL officials and other sporting officials are always devoid from any criticism or blame. They are a bread of human being that craves authority and have a natural urge to enforce rules, discipline and preach integrity unless it involves one of their own.
