Congratulations to everyone from a Wire fan and RL devotee - great news for the game in general but especially your speccies - you really deserve it.
I just hope this is the catalyst for RL gaining wider exposure in the Manchester area and for the Salford club (and especially their fans) to enjoy some success ............... except against Wires of course!

...And people say the franchise system isn't working.
Has anyone maybe thought that the game was in so much debt in the first place because of the pressure on clubs to spend the salary cap to not become relegated? Clubs do seem to be at their brink of financial stress, but it seems like these kinds of takeovers will be aided by the franchise system. They will eventually lift the sport and give it some much needed momentum.
