Quote ="redmatt77"This sentence
"putting people off going to the game with your incessant slagging off the club" (no mentions of posts on this forum).
Is not the same as this sentence
"poor attendances are down to posts on this message board"
Some people have conveniently concentrated on one line in my post, misinterpreted it and missed the bigger picture I was trying to paint.
So I'll put it another way.
If someone continually slaggs of SCR to people they live, work and socialise with. Are those people likely to have negative perceptions about SCR because of what they hear from said person?'"
But you are still suggesting that people are staying away from the club because of negative posts on here. Perhaps you live in a happy little bubble, but most of the people I know who've stopped going have done so because of the way in which the club and new stadium have been run.
I do agree with the last paragraph, definitely. But, where do those negative perceptions of the initial person "slagging off" the club come from? People have been worn down over the years, but still people like yourself cannot see that things have been done poorly by Salford for quite a while. People are not staying away because of negative posts/comments or whatever else from Salford supporters, particularly on a forum which is only read by a minority.
