Can I just clarify that ashtray did not look good in pre season however thought ashurst did! And very mobile with good off load, think he can be the damaging wide running second row we have missed

Sean long's role look's to be working as when Salford spread the ball they look dangerous only a momentry lapse in concentration proved on a few occassion's unlucky not to score...... Positives..... Feka....Strong running and some great hits Howarth....Alway's probing and back's up well.... Ashurst....Great backing up for his try..... Negatives.... Patten....Caught out of position for and never beats the 1st man, easily tackled Gleeson...Weak in defence 2 tries he was at fault, dropped to much ball, All the pack except Feka.....GOT DOMINATED AGAIN...... A embarrassing firework show along with a very poor turnout. Can't argue with most of that

Wouldnt be too downhearted, the conditions made the game 1 dimensional. Ultimately we had a better kicking game and forwards made more yards. Really hard to judge too much. I said at half time that it was a game that could go either way but couldnt get too annoyed if we lost, dont think you lot should either. Matty Smith looked better then he did last year, as did feka. Who got the ball in the face? Ouch on a night like tonight.
