Scott Moore is a good player but for me he would not have been a priority for taking the squad forward.



I like the addition of Ashurst because I think he had a greater potential than Luke Adamson. The coming off season is huge in terms of Adamson's career and the season he has of the back of that. He turns 24 this November and really needs to show next season that he's got another level to go to.



In terms of next season I would like to see one more prop brought in of the calibre of Shannon Macpherson or better. That with coupled with some real quality off season work and we could talk about making the top 8 as a realistic target rather than the certainty the club allowed to be portrayed last year.

Would have been happy to see him come but I'll not lose any sleep over the fact he hasn't, think Smith and Wagga will be the hookers and we'll maybe see Moon and Spencer in the halves with DJ.

Please don't try and make Matty Smith a hooker... Our game loses enough good young halve backs as it is this way!

Personally I think smith is better at hooker, less time he has to think the better perhaps long will develop this part of his game but he will need to step a yard nearer our opponents defensive line to make them check then and only then ill consider him a better scrumhalf than hooker.
