It's perfectly reasonable to protect a precocious young talent from getting completely burned out. Being put into a poorly performing side with ALL the expectations on you might not be the cleverest thing to do - that's what a coaching and management is all about - it may well be in Stef's best interest to drop to the U20s for a few games.

We won only just against a team missing seven regulars.
Are you seriously telling me there are players out there who have been just as underpar as Stef but have not been dropped.
It does not help when you have a continual change of HB partners, your centres are not up to the job and the ones that are continually injured, the pack when attacking makes as many yards as car in rush hour on the M25, and we play the RL version of the football long ball game but to less effect
Maybe Stef has stood upto the clown and said "I dont like how you are making us play and you are driving fans away and making us the most boring team in SL"
I wish someone would.
