Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. I have no idea the first game I attended although I guess it must've been either the 89/90 or 90/91 season on the back of freebie tickets through Hope High. I do remember thinking for about 5 years that Castleford was our local derby though until I realised the place in town was called Castlefield.

IIRC, the first team I watched would've contained the likes of Gibbo, Evans, Peter Edwards, Youngy, Blease. Not sure if Fordy was around then or he joined us a season or 2 later. There was never a dull moment with Tex & Fordy on the wings
