Been told we have signed 2 more players this week, very good signings for the club, I won't mention any names but over the moon with them both.

It makes you wonder why these two players were not announced on Devil-ution day? Reading between the lines it could suggest that these are two players with play-off clubs and they don’t want anything announcing until their seasons are effectively over at club level.

Looking at the current squad for 2014 I really believe we could be in with a big shout of an 8th placed finish if the team gels quickly and aren’t hit too hard with injuries. If however these two additional signings are top quality additions then who knows maybe with a bit of luck we could be in with a realistic chance of a top 6 finish and a decent cup run? I’ll be keeping my feet firmly on the ground though because you only have to remember 2007 when I thought we would be a top 5 team again and we ended up getting relegated with an arguably better squad than the year before.

It will be interesting to see who these two players are but my preference would be two more big forwards to give our pack more depth and not rely too heavily on promising youngsters.

Still say the front row is short of a player or two, one of the props is made of balsa wood and the other is at an age where injuries catch up and take longer to heal. I do think these players are going to be significant signings as the silence surrounding them is deafening where as normally there's people on here telling them their friends dog's uncles been told stood in the bogs at the Slut & Condom that we've signed such and such a person.

Hopefully it isn't Aiton because I know Salford have been sniffing around him, we'll wait and see anyway just praying its no-one from Wakefield Trinity.

Can't see it being Aiton unless there is further dispensation offered to allow the sale of a player to help a club financially.

Got a feeling it's a Leeds player myself.
