Wakefield need to take stock of the crowd issue indeed , to their credit huddersfield did this before a ball had been kicked, they could of been bottom of the table but the tickets are already brought.



i think most clubs should be looking at very low priced family tickets with other incentives thrown in ...as for this season well the credit crunch as done wakey their as it as with many clubs , very little wakey can do now

I believe our (Huddersfield) problem will be next season as I can't see the prices staying this low for another season. Potentially we have staved the off for one season.

In west Yorkshire Giants/Cas/Wakey have all improved on field. Yet 2 have gates up a reasonable amount and one down.( I am told that the walk up of Hudds fans is up.) So why the variation?

SL aims to be expansionist - like it or not - and 2 teams playing from the same stadium runs against their objectives.



RFL could offer the better team in a joint stadium a licence and the weaker team could go down to the championship. This would fit with the push for a SL club to have close links with a C club. It would then free up SL spot for Toulouse / Fax / 'Barrow'?

Unfortunatley any sharing of a stadium would result in a merger and the poor grandmother of richard lewis covered in spit.

At the start of the season there was alot more in the ground than were announced but since the first Wigan match the has been a noticeable drop. I don't if this is to do with a drop of form around this period or negative rumours doing the rounds. Sat tea time kick off are always going to effect the attendance but we should be getting alot better attendances than that.

Its back to the stadium issues and Belle Vue just holds us back thats why it's vital to get the new stadium sorted ASAP. There is definate support within the City for Trinity aslong as the club shows it's moving in the right direction.

Compared with 2 clubs in the same stadium they do okay. The other 2 fit better into the expansionist reality.

Not sure on Toulouse.They dont exactly help expand the game in the UK nor does it expand it in France.Yes it gives more exposure to French RL,but im not convinced it has actually improved or developed the French game,but thats a different debate.
