Doubt it's a chant but at Quins I once got stuck in front of a guy who went:
"aaaaaaaaarrrrrr Quins" - all the time. />
He'd do it quicker if something REALLY exciting was going on
"ar Quins, ar Quins, ar Quins"
It was very irritating, just glad there were plenty of spare seats to move to! |

Good chants in RL are few and far between. My favourite Wire ditty is 'She wore a yellow ribbon' which will hopefully be sung at Craven Park later this month. />
Most of them are just generic tripe though, or copies of football songs. By far and away the best chant in Rugby League is Hull FC's 'Old Faithful'. Nothing else even comes close. |

Lets remember it’s a minority we’re on about here and there is no way I’d ever let that minority turn me from supporting my country, certainly not for a far more right wing country like Spain who remember still torment any black player!

at the Boulevard it was awesome to hear them singing that but at the KC it just doesnt have the same effect to me, doesnt sound half as good,mind you i've not really heard it much at the KC. />
Batley fans make me chuckle when they sing Bat-a-ley Bat-a-ley,why not just drop the A and sing Batley Batley ??

It's got naff all to do with Salford, Halifax, nor Rugby League in general. In fact, it could easily pass as the worst chant I've heard in RL. Alongside Warrington's hillarious repetoire about Salford, slums, scum, druggies and all the rest of it. Oh how we laughed. />

A lot of these chants leave a lot to be desired. A lack of imagination for many and bordering on moronic for others. Sadly it probably reflects the demise of the educational system and society standards.
Chants which are cleverly constructed, unique and do not need to resort to bad language are the best ones. Making sheep noises is pretty infantile.
On the evidence of a few posters on here, it’s a damning indictment of the chant starters if this is what they are all like.
