Wakefield fans always attempt to derail every thread about Cas' ground. Assuming you actually have one I don't see your point at all, but if it's about pointless threads, I'd ask you how valuable is starting a thread about how pointless a thread is?

maybe the point of the thread is that there are several clubs going on about new stadiums. they all need new stadiums for the next franchise and not one brick seems to have been laid yet.

And ruining at least one cracking ground replacing them with identikit soulless stadia.

If you'd have read the point of the thread on the Cas stadium properly - you'd know it started out discussing an announcement by Richard Wright before the Wakey trolls rolled in as per usual when there's talk about the new Cas stadium.

Getting to the brick laying stage though is pretty far down the path to getting a new ground there is a hell of a lot needs doing before getting close to that stage.



I agree with those who don't think that it should be needed to have a new stadium to get a franchise point but at the same time I can see why that is included and why it is important for grounds to be modern as much as I love going to the "traditional" grounds.

I just love the atmosphere at the Jungle, you are really close to the pitch and the Cas fans are always noisy. I just hope the new stadium replicates that.

If you have read any of my posts on Franchising and Huddersfield Smug would not be a description. We still have a lot to do particularly in having a solid attendance figures and some consistency on the field.



What i find concerning is all the promises by some clubs and no delivery if the game of RL is to move on then we need clubs to deliver.



If they cannot deliver then the chance should go to someone else. the Giants included.

Still think you should build a ground a share it bit like Milan do.



I mean your grounds are about 6 miles apart. stick it in Normanton and bobs your uncle. Makes perfect sense

wakefield need to be very careful. if they don't make moves to get along with cas, there may come a day when they knock on the castleford door asking about a ground share and no one will answer.

i really don't see the problem, if wire didn't have the HJ and someone said ground share in burtonwood with widnes i would take that.

The community trust stadium is planned for Stanley which is in the middle of the WMDC thats why it's been situated there. The Community trust will build not just a stadium but sports science college and other facilities for the benefit of the whole area. The cas stadium is apparantly privately funded just for cas. Good luck to them I hope both stadiums go ahead and we can both concentrate on playing Rugby League.

When you came into SL there were promises about improving your facilities. 10 years on it is a shambles.



All clubs recognise the need to have better facilities

Not sure a ground share will help too much re a SL licence.



2 clubs in the same stadium is hardly 'extending the franchise'.
