But the KC isn't a Rugby League stadium though is it? It's dual purpose Football/Rugby league isn't it?

McManus actually said that "it's going to be the best arena in the country to watch rugby league". FC Monk was kinda wrong, kinda right.
Meh, I think that the KC looks better, but I'm a Hull fan so I would. Your stadium looks very good, though, definitely in the top few in the league.

| Looks awesome and really like the name too. 18,000 capacity? Without doubt the best purpose built RL facility in the country.
It's took a while but well done Saints

As I said in my initial post, I just can't wait for the fans from all over the country to come and see what an amazing place it is.
I only live down the road from it and so I've driven past it most days for the last year now and it makes me proud every time. In the flesh it really does blow you away and even exceeds the expectations of even the most optimistic of us Saints fans.

| It does look and I can't wait to visit it this/next season. I think it will be better than the kc but only due to the fact there will not be as many empty seats and will hopefully create a great atmosphere. I just hope my club one day will be playing at home in a stadium like that

Where you stand drenched to the skin (if an away speccie), stand in everybody else's pee at half time and then queue for fifteen minutes for the last soggy ratburger from the van? Just like most other grounds in Yorkshire, it seems.

Unless you have common sense and stand in the enclosed bits like other fans?
With regard to Saints' stadium, I don't like the open bits behind the stands. The noise generated will just drift out.

| Looks like an amazing place to watch rugby league, jealous that it doesn't belong to my club but proud that it's a Rugby League stadium owned by a Rugby League club.
Well done Sts

*Hull KR?
*Wakey?
Yet come over to the correct side of the Pennines where ALL Superleague Clubs (plus Leigh) will provide first class covered seating/standing and facilities for the same (and in some cases cheaper) prices!

I suppose Jamie Oliver will be on hand at the new stadium to cook 100% free range burgers......doubt it.
I suppose the bar will be serving Stella Artois in a tulip shaped glass rather than pyssy Carling in a plastic one.......doubt it.
My wife had to lather factor 30 on at Cas last year as we stood sunbathing on the open terrace.........oh I forgot, the sun never shines in Yorkshire.
You can keep all your new stadiums over the Pennines, the Champions play in a proper ground in Gods County.

You're having a giraffe aren't you.......when was the last time Saints sold a ground out? How many did you and Wigan get for the semi at Warrington again ?
Believe me, 7000 sounds a lot better at somewhere like Cas than it will do in your half empty new stadium.

Deary me such hostility , The Stadium serves beer brewed by a local Brewery you can get Ty-Phoo tea and if your missus wants to Sunbathe then you can in the landscaped grounds of Langtree Park

| Anyone arguing that any Rugby League ground in Yorkshire even comes close to Langtree Park, let alone beats it, has some serious issues.

Wigan v Saints - Challenge Cup Semi 2011 (Warrington) - 12,713 (About 300 short of capacity).
7000 at Cas will NOT sound better than 11-12k in Saints new stadium (their average before they moved from Knowsley Road).
