To be honest, the forward passes that have been seen in most games, but not giving by the referees lately, have increased.
I thought Thaler wasn't very good when we played Wigan at the JJB on Thursday night, so i can see why Morgan has complained about him.

Robbie Paul got it wrong and you are right Tim. There was an earlier example of this on the 17th June 2007 in the Hull KR v Saints match at Craven Park when Paul Wellens had a try disallowed for just this reason, he was in front of the play the ball and so was off-side. |

There are way and means of doing things at certain levels but clearly the guy has issues.
Whether or not the match officials are "bad" , in his position a degree of restraint is required.
It is quite probable that the match officials made mistakes, as did Mr Morgan, as did all the players and probably a lot of the spectators as well.
So what!
Life is full of ups and downs, this and that.
It's how you cope with them that matters but sometimes..................
It's a shame because I always thought of him as one of the more personable coaches.

The point is, everyone you mentioned above is publicly accountable for their mistakes [iexcept[/i referees. Ben Thaler is shocking, and has been shocking refereeing everyone one of our games previous to this. |

Very good point.

I agree totally and after being at the game in question I back Justin in what he's said. Thalers inability to keep a consistant 10 metres and complete disregard for the offside rule is just unacceptable at the top level. And after walking off the pitch with a smug grin on his face, whatever fine (if any) Justin has to pay is well worth it if it means Ben Thaler doesn't referee another Rovers game this year and beyond! |

If I was the RFL, I'd make a point of appointing Thaler to ref as many Rovers games as possible after Morgan's unprofessional dummy spit. |

I agree with Thaler being shocking.
He has been rubbish in every game I've seen him ref us and most of the games I've seen him ref not involving us.
If nothing else it is consistant incompetance.

As much as I agree if Morgan felt hard done by a refs performance he has every right to voice his opinion I have to admit I don’t agree with it in regards to Thyler.
I actually commentated after the Wigan vs Saints game that I though he had an excellent performance that night and let the game flow which is more than can be said of other whistle happy refs in the league.
Like you said guess we all have bad days but at least we can admit it compared to ref’s who according to the RFL never put a foot wrong and are backed to the hilt. |

He cant go round slagging the refs off they got beaten 30- 08 surley the ref didnt miss the tackles that lead to some of the trys, ok fair enough the fans can slag the ref off on here but the coach in a post match interview is wrong, expect a letter from RFL and a £300 fine.

that annoys me.greg mcallum used to admit the ref had made an error,they had discussed it and hopefully it wouldn't happen again. no problem for me.
under cummings the most obvious mistake he says the ref was right. he makes himself look stupid

He's not blamed the referee for our defeat (we lost because we were pretty bad). He's raised a seperate issue of the poor standards we have to put up with week after week from certain officials.
Like I've said a few times, if I was as bad at my job as some of these "professional" referees are at theirs, I'd get sacked immediatley.
