I was just asking a perfectly reasonable question as to why you included Championship NRC attendances into a SL attendance discussion. If you were not trying to make some point, either way, I cannot see how they were at all relevant to the discussion. Hence I asked the question.

But surely the potential SL clubs in the lower leagues must have large, loyal supporter bases, especially those that have been embedded in their communities for the best part of a century or even longer? If that's not the case and they're not really any different to Quins RL, a pretty modest hardcore support hoping to boost crowds from casuals who pick and choose their games and away fans from the bigger clubs, I'm struggling to see what extra they bring to the party. |

What do you think Harlequins would get playing in the NRC?
I think you’ll also find the hard core support and the tradition, you so despise, is what keeps heartland clubs going in the lower leagues.

Celtic clowns long may they last...well hopefully until the guy gets fed up and moves onto something else...how come when they wrote up their cv they failed to mention they relied on the money of one fella, which was aimed at leigh and widnes last time
