Not sure they are mate. As a Quins season ticket holder (and someone who travels 40 miles to each home game) I get as frustrated as all the anti expansion mob about the poor crowds. Lets be honest todays attendance was always going to be poor and it amuses me that some people were just waiting for it to be announced so they could get on here !!!!
The challenge for Quins is translating the exceptional growth in junior rugby league in London and the South to bums on seats. I dont have the answer for sure but I guess they will keep plugging away.

I was just asking a perfectly reasonable question as to why you included Championship NRC attendances into a SL attendance discussion. If you were not trying to make some point, either way, I cannot see how they were at all relevant to the discussion. Hence I asked the question.

If that's not the case and they're not really any different to Quins RL, a pretty modest hardcore support hoping to boost crowds from casuals who pick and choose their games and away fans from the bigger clubs, I'm struggling to see what extra they bring to the party. |

What do you think Harlequins would get playing in the NRC?
I think you’ll also find the hard core support and the tradition, you so despise, is what keeps heartland clubs going in the lower leagues.
