Wires gave David Solamona a 12 month extension at the end of last year, only for him to break a leg pre-season, and he seemed well off pace since his return mid-season.
Great guy, but just not the best value this year.

Its a bit harsh to have a go at a player that broke his leg, although he certainly gaind a few pounds.
He still remains one of the most skillful players in SL. |

I am quite happy with Gelling personally.
Granted he lacks the skill set to be a winger and he could not finish for toffee, but his workrate is phenomenal.
I don't watch the 20's but from what i hear he is ripping it up in the 3/4's (his more natural position)
He probably is on peanuts and has a real stack of potential.

Correct.
I was waiting to see how long it would take before somebody put his name forward so that I could reply with much the same as you did.
He'll be a real surprise package for Wigan playing in that left centre spot next year imo. |
