Yep. Its not about the crowds for SL sides, they are probably forever going to be low for the cup. So its all about getting SL clubs to help lower league clubs. Give them a bit of gate money, their fans a chance to see top players, and for SL fans a chance to see teams play against different opponents.

I think that this is great news, supports grass roots, gets SL club supporters to new grounds, and legitimises the competition.
