How ridiculous. They signed a deal to have it at Wembley each July, the week before schools finish. That is obviously the best date to get as many youngsters involved. The RFL is clearly trying to kill off the game at all levels. If they worked with school liaison officers and schools and community clubs up and down the country, they could fill wembley every year. That would in turn lead to massive increase in junior rugby league. anyone who thinks that school and junior community rugby league is not the future of the game still has their head down a pit in Wakefield or Wigan.

Problem with CC Final is that it use to be a singular club event day in the RL calendar. /> Now with SL GF, Magic Weekend, and Northern Rail Cup, Blackpool Weekender etc (or whatever names they're going by) going to the CC Final no longer especially attractive if your team isn't involved, when you can spend your money elsewhere.
