Quick Question....because I'm crap at maths. />
If EVERY SL club were on say, £1,800,000 of funding, then that means SL have £21.6 million a year to dish out. (this £1.8 may be wrong, but the premise is right)
If Leigh get a smaller chunk (£1,000,000) and Catalans get nowt, then the other 10 clubs get an extra £260k each. 7%?????
If in 2022 they promote 2 Teams and give everyone a share, they all get £1,540,000 each 8.5% less????.....if they deny catalans and toulouse the the remaining 12 get £1.8 million, the same whilst the French get nowt. />
If the plan is to then relegate 4 sides to SL 2, then the current vote is for the likes of Wakefield, Huddersfield, Salford and the other average SL sides to vote for a £300,000 reduction in funding for 2022 to deliver pretty assured relegation ot at best a relegation scare!
So the question is.
Who has any faith in what the remaining 10 clubs will do in 10 years time........? Ergo, the Turkeys ( middle tier clubs) won't vote for Christmas so the Butcher (SKY TV) will butcher the lot and move into cattle farming instead. />
Sorry....not such a quick question, but one I think needs examining. />

The premise isn't right and why would Leigh get "less money" if say they survive in SL, and how can you work anything out accurately when there is no French TV deal yet??
Plus SL have said there will be some funding for SL2. />
Try dividing £50M between two seasons (£25M) then divide by a greedy 10 club Superleague, if the Elite took all the money they would all be on far more that they are now. />
Try then assuming two French clubs would get their own TV deal if both were guaranteed to be playing in Superleague to attract the French broadcaster, and that leaves us 8 English SL clubs in SL1 who could in theory share £25M a season or over £3Million each......
I don't think this is about the top clubs getting less money, it's all about the clubs below them getting blown out of the deal, and taking the brunt of the hit, it dates back to the last deal being spread from top to bottom by Blake Solly and Nigel Wood, and Superleague being upstaged by the middle eight play offs and Million pound game...........
