I really don't understand why Wire signed Kevin Brown, he's competent most of the time, but not the creative force to take a team from contender to champion.

I have heard of Wigan fans leaving before the end of games but just dismissed it as sour grapes from fans of other clubs.
However, I went to see HullFC play in Australia this year. I watched the game at the ANZ stadium and then watched the Wigan game until half time, at which point we left, my wife and I are not exactly in the first flush of youth ( in our seventies) and it was getting rather late. On the train going back to Sydney Central were a few Wigan fans? I can understand Hull fans leaving early, but why travel 12500 miles to see your team and leave at half time?
