Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com

Quote ="Ste100Centurions"Not so keen when your little town club is under attack are you !
*this is also kind of the point of my post*.
IIRC & although I did not attend *it was reported on a Leigh Fans FB page by several who travelled* the London v Leigh game was more akin to a Leigh home match (attendance aside) given that several said there was about, if not more Leigh fans than London. Given your stated average of 900 (if true) what is the average number of home fans *Not the total* ?'"
Must be true then..... d040.gif" alt="d040.gif" title="CRAZY" />
I logged every London Broncos/QRL gate in SL and can assure you that Leigh were the 5th worst attended visitors in their one and only visit to the capital in SL. This is not my opinion or that of a group of 50or so fans who make the trip down, get hammered and then inagine they were the majority, but a statistical fact.
Leeds were responsible for about 40% of the 1,900/2,500 depending on what you read, gate at the weekend....meaning that 1,140 or 1,500 londeners were there......oh, as for my little club.....I am aware that it is a small outfit, but I am also aware that we didn't put it all on red and whine like the ugly bridesmaid who goes home alone when it didn't go your way....enjoy the shield

Back on topic....
I think Bradford should still be confident of at least getting promotion via the playoffs.
For me, if York win at Workington (which they haven't done since 1791 or something like that!) they should be very confident. Although they do have tricky home matches against Oldham and Whitehaven, York have lost just one home match this season against Bradford in controversial circumstances after the full time hooter. The only other teams to get close at York are Keighley who lost by 14 pts and Doncaster who lost by 15 pts.
As for full time/part time. That's a tricky one. York are part time, but then you have a player such as Ben Cockayne who is employed by Hull KR in the corporate team, I believe. Likewise can't see Graeme Horne or Joel Edwards (recent signing from the NRL via Limoux) putting in shifts at Nestle before training. If you put it down to which club has had the biggest playing budget, I'd imagine Bradford's budget is double that of York. But that's just a guess.
Right, sorry to interrupt, feel free to continue arguing about London and the pitch at Toronto icon_wink.gif" alt="icon_wink.gif" title="Wink" />
