Noone seems to be talking about Salford though, beat super Cas and smashed - IMO - the best opposition team I've seen this season Hull.

Salford are stopping under the radar well, and quietly going about their business. I like what they are doing there at the moment. They seem to be now following how we have tried to do things. No 'superstars', and an honest hard working coach being left to get on with his job and everyone work for each other. On the subject of Wigan, lets not be under any illusions here, they will be challenging for OT come October. Along with us, I hope! Its a long season and titles aren't won in April. I think we have a good enough squad to ride injuries and get through to the business end, and I know Wigan do. Squads win trophies, not your first 1-17. It's gonna be an interesting season. I'm looking forward to seeing how Easter shakes things up too. |

I'm not sure putting 50 past hull on their own turf can be considered going about their business 'quietly'

But I agree that it's refreshing to see some new faces at the top of the table for a change. I know it's a long way off but a Salford v Cas GF would be great for the game.

Indeed, but after Salfords win at Hull I don't think losing the lead at Salford for the first time in the match in the 77th (?) minute at a ground we've often struggled at is quite so bad! Hope both teams can keep it up.
I think this weekend will say a lot about Cas. Wakefield will be up for it on Friday, then on the Monday it's St Helens away. I believe Saints are the only team we have not won at in 20 years of Super League (ignoring teams who only lasted a season or have just been promoted e.g. Leigh). | | | |
