Im afraid I have always thought this was on the cards for Eagles. As soon as Mr Swire decided he was packing in then it wasn't a good sign for them.

201 people have contributed.
This may not only mean that Sheffield Eagles survive,but that future generations of rugby league supporters can attend a game
in a permanent home for the Sheffield Eagles that is fit for purpose.
Please donate as much as you can.This is the final week. |

Just a quick Thank You to all those followers of rugby league,and any others,who have contributed to the fund,set up to try and sustain Sheffield Eagles while negotiations were taking place between the council and potential new owners,and awaiting the go-ahead for a new stadium.
