He was quite the player. His try against Australia at Lang Park in 1988 was beautiful to watch. He had a rawness about his football early on that diminished and was replaced by the grand aura he portrayed by say 1994 and the time of his Wembley pearler. We were blessed that his career overlapped with that of Steve Renouf so we could see such gifted runners at the same time. ET too.

OK. Three great tries on this (in fact more but they are of most interest I think).
1. Only a bit (the end) of a great Cronulla try at 30 secs in.
2. The highlight - an absolute gem from Joe Lydon that is not very well known at all. It is as good as either of his Challenge Cup Final 1984 double tries for sheer class and footwork. Enjoy that one at 53 secs in.
3. 1:40 secs great work from Dale Shearer off his line.
