He held the same record for Leigh for 12 years (claimed in my first ever game, no less) with 38 points IIRC before it was broken by Neil Turley with in 2004. He does still hold the career record for Leigh though.

He holds Leigh's "Most Career Points" record with 2492 points, and with 3985-points is/was fourth on British rugby league's "most points in a career" record list behind Neil Fox, Jim Sullivan, and Gus Risman. />
He is likely (if he hasn't already) to be overtaken by Mick Nanyn and Kevin Sinfield. |

Absolutely outstanding half-back, the type we sadly lack nowadays, who could frighten even the Aussies with his ability to find a gap or a killer pass to break the tightest defence. We were privileged to have him at Warrington for a couple of years: wish it had been ten.
