i don`t get you 1 bit worzel , you said on the turkey you`ve just switched to league from watching sale , your not a salfordian you havn`t watched salford as a fan yet and your procrastinating about what being a salfordian is all about , love to know what you base your knowledge on , you used to be able to see old traffords floodlights from all over salford , salford docks were right next door , as is ordsal a tough council area why wouldn`t they watch united , if you dont like us stop trying to be 1 of us and talking crap in our name

I dont understand Worzel either, Salford is and always has been the closest town (obviously it is now a City) to Old Trafford. Salford has been and always will be a Manchester United and football town/City.

It's been a city since 1926. I would wager a lot that there are very few people alive who distinctly remember its status as only a town. I'd say you would have to be 93 and very alert.
