tonga won 2 games! a bad first 40mins against scotland was their undoing.

1) Wales - the draw was setup for them to get to the Q/Final and they didn't
2) PNG - not the standard of previous touring sides
3) France - very poor on Monday. Excellent crowd/atmosphere and they didn't perform.

as for france, yes they won only one game by one point, but they didn't ask the organisers to make sure the top 3 from group a and b progressed, next time there should be a play off between the 3rd place teams and the runners up of the 3 team groups and winners progress to the QF

France are pathetic...with all those Matalan Dragon players, and they still rubbish.
Ireland/Wales without hardly any SL/NRL players did not under perform.
France, maybe WE could help them, by having 4 teams in the European Sooper Dooper League. What a load of %^&$ !!!

Wales for me. Simple. I liked the look of their squad on paper, and even if nothing else they should have beaten the Cooks. Their no-show against the USA was diabolical.
