So how many of SL club sponsors are national or international??

Just a small point. Was it SL that pulled out of the deal, or Stobart that withdrew.

If you are lucky and it's a full moon, you can still see the Stobart SL vehicles driving round

I was told that privately the RFL quickly admitted the Stobart deal was a disaster, and the new Comms Director was quick to try and get out. I think officially it was by mutual consent. Stobart would have no reason to pull out, they were getting free advertising on Sky Sports etc.

If we cant get a sponsor for next year, i would be prepared to pay up to a tenner for the naming wrights, its allot more than last year

Just lightening to mood, it will not be the first time we struggled for a sponsor, the Wigan chap helped us out once i don't think anybody will get the facts of last years sponsorship
